Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea: On the other hand, Vanilla Strawberry is generally a bit more compact. It grows to about 6 to 7 feet tall, but the spread is narrower, around 4 to 5 feet. The flowers tend to be more densely packed as well, giving it a fuller look.

Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea: With Vanilla Strawberry, the colour shift is also noticeable, but it’s more abrupt. The flowers start white and turn pink, then deepen to red, which gives the shrub a “strawberry” effect that intensifies as the season progresses.
