Black Gold Philodendron plants are the best rare low-light houseplants to add to your indoor collection if you ask me. This rare indoor plant can thrive in medium to low light. However other rare plants such as White Variegated Monstera, Philodendron Painted Lady and Philodendron Pink Princess can grow in low light but, based on my experience, they thrive very slowly and their lovely colours will fade.
I’m a horticultural consultant and in this post collected several rare plants that can survive in low light, however, except the Black Gold Philodendron, others don’t grow healthy or very slowly and lose their rare colour combination. Anyway, you can make them happy by using a growing light.
